Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is one of the most common pregnancy complications which affect mother and offspring. In addition to adverse perinatal outcomes, it may lead permanent health problems for mother, such as type 2 (T2DM) cardiovascular disease (CVD), while increasing risk future obesity, CVD, T2DM GDM in child. Approximately 15% women seek fertility treatment. Over last decade, has come attention that patients with an infertility history are more prone having during their pregnancies, this review examines relationship between infertility. The elevated estrogen, progesterone, leptin, placental lactogen growth hormone main reasons increased insulin resistance pregnancy. Despite some confounding factors mechanism history, treatment increases risk, according numerous studies. obesity epidemic associated disorders have become a significant public concern worldwide. Lifestyle modification weight loss before encouraged, but there no strong evidence improvement results. GDM, potential alteration embryo’s environment cause epigenetic reprogramming, be inherited next generation. impacts patient’s offspring’s health.
